Jacques Bermon Webster II, born April 30, 1991, is better known as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott) is the American artist, singer, and songwriter. The stage name is the combined name of his favorite uncle who has the first name and first name (of Kid Cudi), of his inspiration, Travis Scott. Scott signed his first major-label agreement with Epic Records in 2012, along with an agreement to publish with Kanye West's GOOD Music. Scott signed a record deal with Epic Records and T.I. He is signed to Epic and T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's debut long-form project, Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in the year 2013. In 2013 Scott self-released the mixtape Owl Phaoh. Another mixtape, Days Before Rodeo was released in 2014. His debut studio album, Rodeo (2015), was a hit due to the single "Antidote". The album that followed entitled Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first number-one album on the Billboard 200. In the following year, Scott released a collaborative album featuring Quavo entitled Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho under the group name Huncho Jack.In 2018 his third album, Astroworld, was released to acclaim from critics and also produced his first Billboard Hot 100 number one single, "Sicko Mode" (featuring Drake). Scott's Cactus Jack Records release the compilation album JackBoys in the latter part of 2019. This album topped the Billboard 200. Following the release of his single "Franchise", which featured Young Thug as well as M.I.A., Scott was successful in releasing the album compilation JackBoys. Scott became the first artist on the Hot 100 to have three singles reach the top spot in less than a year in 2020.
